Eastside Compounding is Adelaide’s first compounding Lab where you will have a personalised consultation with the pharmacist who will create a unique Eastside formula for your specific health condition.

We take a personalised and holistic approach to patient health, employing and working with a range of health professionals including our onsite naturopath and pharmacists. Our integrated approach to health also allows us to work closely with your preferred GP or specialist where needed.

Our passionate team of pharmacists are determined to work with you to produce a product/medicine that will cater to your individual health needs. This may include working with your doctor to create a prescription using scheduled medicines or we may be able to produce a quality medicine using raw ingredients which does not require a doctor’s prescription.

What is Compounding?

Compounding is the art and science of preparing customised medications for patients. Unlike commercially made medications which are delivered in set doses.

Compounded prescriptions can be prepared in varying strength, which means your doctor can tailor medication to suit your size, weight and specific health needs.

In addition, many compounded prescriptions can be delivered in the form and flavour of your choice. The resurgence of compounding in recent years provides valuable benefits for you and your entire family including pets. Our ultra-modern compounding laboratory use the latest technology to deliver high quality products with every prescription dispensed. Our products are externally quality tested so you know you are getting a superior product every time.

At Eastside Compounding we prepare personalised medicine tailored to treat your specific condition. We assess your condition and formulate a compounded medicine just for you then make it in our state of the art laboratory. (*Disclaimer .. if you require scheduled medicine you will need a Doctor’s prescription)
Depending on the presenting condition a pharmacist/naturopathic consultation may take anywhere from 15 – 45 minutes.
You can walk in anytime however to avoid waiting if we are busy you can phone ahead to make an appointment.
As pharmacists we have extensive knowledge of pharmaceutical ingredients/medicines to treat your ailments. Together with our naturopath we can treat your condition from the inside out.
Compounded medication needs to be tailored and formulated specifically for you. This usually takes 2-3 days. You will received a notification via SMS when your treatment is ready for collection.
Scheduled Medicine is a national classification system that controls how medicines and poisons are made available to the public. It is medicine that requires a prescription.
An integrative doctor is a doctor that combines conventional western medicine with evidence-based natural medicine, providing patients with the highest level of individualised health care.
