Ray Ravalico and Veronica Ferraro, owners of Eastside Compounding, have created a team of pharmacists devoted to creating the best alternative tailored solutions to meet your individual health needs.
Ray and Veronica’s working relationship began in Adelaide in 1991 when Veronica took an internship at Ray’s pharmacy. After working together for many successful years, they decided to venture into a partnership and establish their first pharmaceutical business in 1996. “Eastside Compounding” was created in 2014 as they felt the industry was lacking in tailored medicine, as commercially available medicine does not always meet each patient’s individual health needs.
At Eastside Compounding we source the highest quality raw ingredients from trusted pharmaceutical suppliers, with all raw ingredients accompanied with certificates of analysis.
Our purpose-built Compounding Lab in Norwood is home to a suite of state-of-the-art equipment, with each formula meticulously created by an experienced pharmacist.
Inside our Compounding Lab we can understand the composition, structure and interaction of molecules of our formulas. With this knowledge we continually refine and develop high quality products and formulas.
Eastside Compounding operates under strict quality control measures to ensure premium products are compounded. With this we undertake external testing of our products to ensure only the highest quality for our patients.
Ray’s first pharmacist position was at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, and it was here that Ray began to gain a particular interest in pharmaceutical compounding. Over the decades Ray has become fascinated in skin health and regularly consults with patients regarding their skin conditions. Ray has been a pharmacy owner since 1980 and continues to consult.
Rays extensive experience in both hospital and community pharmacy has assisted him in developing a deeper understanding of patients’ needs. His exposure to both areas of apothecary has given him insight into the challenges patients face with commercially available medicine and how tailoring and formulating a personalised medicine is an area in need.
Veronica, a long time friend and colleague describes Ray as a highly experienced and knowledgeable pharmacist with a great willingness to help others.
Veronica has a strong interest in pharmaceutical compounding, particularly formulating medicine specific for her patients. She is passionate about skincare and assisting patients to achieve the best results when it comes to their skin. Veronica’s dedication to skin care formulating began through her own personal challenges when she was unable to find a commercially available product to treat her skin.
Veronica considers it crucial to find and treat the cause of the health issue instead of treating the symptom. It is not about finding a “quick fix” for Veronica, but rather that our skin and body health starts from the inside.

Anne has been working in the field of naturopathy for the past 20 years – educating Integrated GPs, pharmacists, naturopaths and other clinicians on the latest research surrounding evidence based naturopathic supplements and healing strategies.
Anne has special interest in mitochondrial health and the field of anti-aging, longevity, regenerative health, sports nutrition and recovery. Implementing a systemic approach to health and wellness with integrated lifestyle strategies. Anne has travelled to symposiums around the world to expand her knowledge of current trends in functional medicine.
As part of her practice Anne will formulate customised supplements to provide individualised treatment, along with various therapeutic devices including NOVATEC Lymphatic massage, and infrared therapy to help assist with optimal health strategies.
